What is Passkey?
With a Passkey, users can securely log in to Scopevisio without having to enter a password.

Instead, you can log in to Scopevisio using the same biometric data or device password that you use to unlock your device. Passkeys are unique to each user and tied to the identity of a website or app, making them resistant to phishing and hacking attempts.

The security standard was developed in collaboration with the FIDO Alliance and the World Wide Web Consortium.
Preparation
To be able to log in to Scopevisio with Passkeys, you must first have activated a corresponding login option for your device. To do this, read the instructions for your operating system:
Windows: Set up Passkeys under Windows.
Apple(Mac OS / iOS): Set up Passkeys under Apple devicesIf the login option is generally activated on your device, you can store a passkey for Scopevisio. You can find out how to do this in Set up passkeys for Scopevisio
Log in with passkeys
You can log in directly in the Scopevisio application or via the customer portal using a passkey.
Logging in via the Scopevisio application:
Open the desktop application, which you can download here.
Select the "Passkey" method for logging in. If you have not yet activated this option, you can activate it under "Settings" in the login dialogue.
Click on the "Next" button to start the operating system browser and you will be asked to authenticate yourself using Passkey.
You can use the checkbox to specify the default setting.

Select "Windows Hello" and log in with your PIN or the stored method.
Log in via the customer portal
Open the customer portal via the following link: https://appload.scopevisio.com/apps/public/login.html
And select "Log in with passkey" as the login method.

Select "Windows Hello",
and log in with your PIN or the stored method.
