With the export of instance, company or user settings ("Settings"), you can transfer Scopevisio settings from one workstation or user to any number of others.
This allows you to work with standardised software and the same views, menus, etc. throughout your company. This helps you to introduce the software more quickly and standardise work processes.

Instance: with this configuration type, you can export user profiles and thus assign standardised rights in all your instances. Select the settings to be exported using the checkboxes at the beginning of the line. If you want to export all settings of a type, tick the box in the column header. Click on Export and to save the file to your hard drive. If you wish, carry out the process for the other setting types as well.
You need the appropriate rights to import and export company and instance settings. For example, you cannot export user profiles if you do not also have the Company and User - All rights user profile.
Exporting settings
Select Organisation > Administration > System / Export system settings.
Select the configuration type (i.e. the category in which the desired setting is located, see above).
Tick the settings you want to export in the Element name column.
Finally, click on Export.
The export creates a .pck file. You can save this in a suitable location and then hand it over to your employees.
Note the scroll bar: there are more settings available than you realise at first glance.
Preparing settings
Open your application or register a free trial instance.
All exportable views and functions are described below.
My Scopevisio
Many My Scopevisio settings can be transferred to other instances.
Contact management forms
The Scopevisio forms are made up of information units - the business objects. These are blocks of information in which thematically related fields are grouped together and labelled with a heading. For example, the contact form contains the "Address" business object with the data fields for street, postcode and country.
You can show and hide business objects and move them within the form, and show or hide the individual data fields. In this way, you can design your own personalised forms. The views of each individual contact role can be customised independently and transferred to other instances via export.
The positions of the displayed business objects are transferred via the user settings Contact UI settings, the displayed data fields in the business objects via the company settings Business object customisations.
Table views
You can show and hide table columns and change their order.
Right-click on the table header and select Column selection. Tick the desired columns and save. Move a column by clicking on the heading and dragging the column to the desired position while holding down the mouse button.
Bank statement rules and document worklist
You can use bank statement and document worklist rules to create conditions that automatically suggest a posting for an account movement or incoming invoice.
You use layout rules to determine which layout is used to create your various accounting documents.
Within an instance, all users who have the corresponding rights can access these rules. You can also transfer the rules to other companies using the settings export function. You can select individually which rules are to be transferred.
Customise business objects
Use the right mouse button to show or hide data fields and entire business objects in the various forms. You can move the business objects to other positions by dragging them with the mouse.
User-defined fields
Within an instance, all users who have the corresponding rights can access user-defined data fields and create new ones. You can also pass the fields on to other companies using the settings export function.
Document layouts
Practical for franchise chains and chain stores: offers, invoices and other sample documents that you have already created in your own company layout can be rolled out company-wide in the form of settings.
Customise my menu
A department usually only needs some of Scopevisio's many functions.
In My Menu, you only include the menu items you need. You can access My Menu by right-clicking in the menu area.
Use the menu icon (see marking in the following illustration) to switch between the full Scopevisio menu and My Menu.
Set My menu as the default menu
In My Scopevisio (accessible via the settings icon), you can set Scopevisio to always open with your customised menu.
User profiles
User profiles and the associated read and write permissions can be defined in Scopevisio and customised for the final user.
These can also be transferred to other instances.
