DATEV RDS 1.0 - Transmission of documents with booking information

Introduction

With the DATEV RDS 1.0 function, documents created in Scopevisio can be transferred to a tax consultant who uses the DATEV software, together with the accompanying posting information. This type of transfer ensures a standardised transfer of document images with accompanying pre-assignment directly into the DATEV system without media discontinuity.

The function enables time-saving collaboration between the company and the tax consultant's office and reduces manual work steps.

Prerequisites

Before you can use the function, the following requirements must be met:

  • DATEV RDS 1.0 must be set up correctly, both on the firm's side and on the client's side.

  • Approvals and authorisations to use DATEV RDS 1.0 must be available.

  • As a Scopevisio user, you need DATEV access data.

Instructions

The form is divided into 2 sections. Firstly, you should register with DATEV (1). You will receive the relevant data from your tax consultant.

Then you can update the order status of documents that have already been transmitted (2).

To send (3), first select the documents, which are divided into incoming invoices, outgoing invoices and cash sheets.

You can find out more about the transmission in the Order status column. Please note that the status is created from the perspective of the receiving system / tax advisor.

  • Open
    The import process has not yet been completed by Scopevisio. Further data or the end of the import process is still expected.

  • In progress
    The processing of the data has not yet been completed. Please get the status again.

  • Completed
    Processing has been successfully completed.

  • Cancelled
    Processing has been cancelled due to a fundamental error.

  • To be checked
    Processing has been completed with errors/remarks.

  • Successfully cancelled
    Processing was cancelled online by the user or their tax advisor in document management.

  • Cancelled with error
    The cancellation of the processing by the user or their tax advisor in online document management has ended with an error.

Notes

In the event of transmission problems, you should first check the status of the DATEV data centre via Further actions (three points).
