Rules for the manual creation of products

Updated over 2 months ago

Scopevisio recognises rules in several areas to improve efficiency. This also applies to manual product creation.

The rule enables a preallocation from the context in which we start and thus a transfer of all known information. In addition, the enrichment rule can preallocate the most probable information.

In concrete terms, most product creation systems with the basic unit piece and the product type goods are very likely to be 60% redundant. And it is precisely this type of information that we can pre-assign using rules.

On the one hand, this speeds up the product creation process, and on the other, it increases data quality.

Example: When creating a quotation, an order or a requirement request within the active product master, we do not find the product that we now want to insert into the line of the document. However, we write this information as text in the line:

With the command Product new: we take over all the information that we know (and can process so far):

and have thus processed all known information

Assign or suggest a product number, save, done.

Product rules can be found under: Product overview/further actions

This system is located behind the buyer's authorisation, so that you can control and manage your process here via rights and accessibility.
