Introduction
The interface between Scopevisio and Orbis is realised via the Scopevisio Data Connector (SDC). This connection enables the bidirectional exchange of data between the two systems and supports the integration of financial accounting in particular.
Calling up the Orbis connection
The interface is configured and monitored via the "Orbis connection - administration" settings form. This can be accessed via:
Organisation > OpenScope > Import & Export
Form contents and functional areas
Various information about the interface is displayed and controlled in the form:
General information
Status of the connection
Time of the last access to the mailbox (inbox and outbox)
Incoming mailbox (data from Orbis to Scopevisio)
Information on transferred data
Activation and deactivation possible
Outgoing mailbox (data from Scopevisio to Orbis)
Information on transferred data
Activation and deactivation possible
Note: If asset accounting is managed in Orbis, type TYP17 should also be activated. Please discuss this with your project manager.
Status query
To check whether communication between the systems is working properly, use the "Query status" function.
Procedure:
Open the Orbis Connection - Administration form.
Click Query status at the bottom right.
The response JSON with the current communication status can be viewed in the Orbis connections - Remote control form.

Make sure that the configuration is only carried out by authorised users.
