Scopevisio in a new design

The changeover to Scopevisio's new look in the O365 design is getting closer - it's almost here. Familiarise yourself with the revised interface now and use our new ribbon with the main functions. You will notice how quickly and intuitively you will find your way around!

Different main functions = different function calls = different views - the following comparison makes this clear:

The left part of the ribbon remains unchanged and presents the basic functions Teamwork, Contacts, Tasks and Activities in the complete view, as long as the reducing "My menu" is not activated.

Do you like a clear overview? Did you like working with the individualised "My menu"? Even after switching to the new ribbon, this functionality remains the same: the small arrow on the right-hand side of the ribbon switches back and forth between the extensive menu and the options you have selected.

The centre section shows the function calls within the main function selected above - always with the aim of keeping access to them as direct as possible and thus minimising the number of clicks. The workstation on the right can be customised and can also be completely hidden under "My menu" if it is not being used.

Top innovations in feature set 99 (FS99)

With the new feature set 99, we create more visibility for the people involved and help you to individualise your workstation in the best possible way! A whole bundle of functional enhancements aims to do just that. We present a few of them here, the rest can be found below:

Responsibility for tasks
Tasks

Search specifically for tasks of certain employees or for those that have not yet been assigned to anyone! You can choose between various filter options in the "Responsible" column in the task overview. Display the tasks of a specific employee, several employees or all employees - or filter out those that are still without an editor.

Filter by sales and marketing representative
Sales > Opportunities

Use the multiple filter to display the sales status of opportunities of not just one, but several sales or marketing representatives at a glance! No more switching to separate Excel lists - simply display the new columns Sales Representative or Marketing Representative in the overview under Sales > Opportunities > Total.

Show contact persons
Sales > Opportunities/Potentials/Offers
Projects > Projects/Orders/Delivery notes/Invoices/Correction invoices

Looking for a contact person - nothing could be easier. In the overviews of opportunities, potentials and quotations, you can now also display the customer's contact person. The same applies to the table views of projects, orders, delivery notes, invoices and corrective invoices. Simply display the column and filter according to the desired contact person.

Activities

Company or personal contact?
Activities > Comments

Recognise at a glance whether it is a company or a person: In the overview of comment lists, "First name" and "Name/company" now replace the previous single column "Contact". In order to clearly identify persons as such, the first name is now also displayed; for companies, the "First name" column remains empty.

Organisation

Display your own names for business objects in projects
Organisation > Administration > System administration > System > Manage user-defined fields for projects

Customise your forms! If you have created user-defined fields with your own names for projects, these will be used as names for business objects in the project form instead of the generic "User-defined fields". To do this, open a project, right-click in an empty part of the form and select the business objects you have defined via "Show and hide business objects".

Renaming the columns in the product table
Organisation > Master data > Products > Manage products

If you would like to show additional columns in the product table, the selection is now certainly easier. Instead of the cryptic "Columns 1-20", "Columns 21-40", we have summarised the available columns in generic terms: you can find the column you require even more quickly under Product, Unit prices, Extended fields and Other.

Sales and distribution

Foreign currencies in potentials
Sales > Potentials

Now you can not only create offers, but also potentials in foreign currencies! You can continue to process leads for which you have entered currencies other than EUR: from P for potential to Z for payment.

Traceable document sequence ensures
Sales > Offers

We keep the document sequence transparent! If you want to send a quotation for which a follow-up document already exists again after a change of year, the original quotation is saved with a new date and new document number. In the past, this has led to many an unsuccessful search for previous documents. Scopevisio draws your attention to this consequence with a query - if you say no, the original document remains unchanged.

Projects

Which invoice type?
Projects > Invoices

Do you often search for certain invoices? When creating invoices, the invoice type is now automatically added to the "Invoice name" data field. In the tabular invoice overview, the invoice type is also displayed in the name in the "Sales document description" column, so that you can quickly differentiate between individual, down payment, instalment, partial or final invoices.

Note on missing Conto-pro-Diverse
Projects > Invoices

You do not have a Conto-pro-Diverse (CpD), the new contact does not yet have a customer account - then it has probably already happened that an outgoing invoice could not be posted because it said that the account did not exist. You couldn't make much sense of the error message? The optimised message "Posting is not possible because there is no customer for the contact and no account per miscellaneous customer" will certainly help you.

Dimensions in billing templates make accounting easier
Projects > Billing

Make it easier for the accounting department to allocate outgoing invoices with our extended billing template functionality. Give your outgoing invoices additional dimensions and make your accounting transparent. The dimensions for templates that you have defined under Finance > Reports > Accounting > Customised reports > Cost accounting are now also optionally available to you.

Quickly find copies of receipts
Projects > Accounting

We have simplified the differentiation between the original document and a copy of your invoice: From now on, you can recognise a duplicate by the suffix "Copy of ..." if you use our preset labelling sequence "Document number, customer name".

Partial and partial invoices as recurring invoices
Projects > Recurring invoices

More functionality for recurring invoices: In addition to individual invoices, you can now also use partial invoices and partial invoices for recurring invoices. For a better overview, you can filter by invoice type in a separate column.

Finances

Prioritise existing contacts over credit reform proposals
Finances > Rebu > Invoice entry

We are continuing to optimise the new invoice entry book! Faster to the existing contact in Rebu: The credit reform suggestions when entering a company/surname now only take effect from the 7th character. Previously, only existing contacts were displayed.

Voucher number becomes internal voucher number
Finance > Cash registers > Cash register overview > Settings

The voucher number is now called "Internal voucher number" for the sake of clarity. This prevents ambiguities from arising in the first place.

Extended display options according to your working behaviour: The columns "Invoice number (external document number)" and "Invoice date" are now also available in the document worklist for individual configuration.

Display and export of payment terms
Finance > Payables > Accounts payable

We also offer you more options for an individualised display in the overview of the vendor master: Columns are available for viewing the terms of payment and these can now also be exported:
