Invoice areas are a document-related criterion for grouping your incoming and outgoing invoices, postings and cash documents. This allows you to create evaluations for individual accounting areas such as branches or offices below the company's commercial or legal entity.
The data can also be changed via System menu > Manage accounting > Accounting groups .
The reports available in Scopevisio, such as balance sheet, P&L, BWA, can be filtered to accounting groups, so you can create your own partial reports for your branches. The open item lists in Scopevisio can also be filtered to accounting areas if an indicator has been entered in the posting line of the subsidiary account. Further reporting options outside Scopevisio are available to you via data sources.
The function has its own right, which is deactivated by default. Activate the right via System administration > User administration > Manage user profiles and rights > Authorization: Master data, Invoice area.
