From time to time, the problem occurs that an asset cannot be added or an asset transaction cannot be saved.
In this case, check the Data update only permitted field under Master data > Set up asset accounting at the end of the form
.
You may have protected the relevant date range against changes or the field is still completely empty. In both cases, saving is not possible.
Change the specified year accordingly. See also Set up asset accounting.
Editing financial years for which financial statements have already been created and published is expressly not recommended.
