Upload via SFTP per Teamwork

Updated over 2 months ago

From the scanner directly into the DMS Teamwork - large amounts of data, secure and encrypted and without detours via the desktop client? All this is possible with the upload via SFTP function.

Please note that your end device must be SFTP-compatible for this. FTP and FTPS are not supported.

There is no directory retrieval from the scanner, the command is an upload command only. This must also be taken into account in the functional scope of your end device.

Create SFTP access

Call up the Teamwork weblogin. The quickest way to do this is via Organisation > Teamwork > Further actions: Teamwork Weblogin.

null

Click on the Import tab.

null

In the left-hand column, select Upload interfaces: Upload SFTP.

null
  1. Assign a name. A descriptive name that makes the purpose recognisable is best.

  2. Select a Teamwork folder to which the upload should take place.

  3. Assign one or more keywords that will be assigned to the documents during the upload so that they can be found more quickly.

  4. For security reasons, assign a password.

  5. Set up your SFTP access by clicking on the "Create SFTP upload" button.

null

As soon as this access has been created in the weblogin, Teamwork automatically creates the configuration data required for your end device.

Set up SFTP access

In the same window, under the Import tab, menu item Upload interfaces: Upload SFTP, you will see the access you have just created.

To display the respective data, click on the drawing board symbol.

null

Copy the individual data to transfer it to your scanner software.

null

Edit SFTP account

If you would like to edit an existing account, go to Import > Upload interfaces: Upload SFTP. Click on the pencil icon next to the access you want to edit.

null

Make the desired adjustments and then click on "Update SFTP upload".

null

With the exception of the password, the data for the scanner software remains unaffected by these changes. In this case, copy the new password and transfer it to your scanner software.

Remove SFTP access

If you want to remove an access, go to Import > Upload interfaces: Upload SFTP. Click on the X symbol next to the access to be removed.

null

This removes the access with immediate effect.
