If special characters or line breaks are used in text fields in the Scopevisio application, display problems occur in Excel if data sources of the "CSV" output type are integrated.
In the following, we will show you how to solve this problem.
You have already created a data source of type "Journal" and output type CSV and downloaded the CSV file.
Open Excel and load the CSV file via the "From text/CSV" data tab. The data is displayed incorrectly, as shown in the next image.
Select Data > Queries and connections. In the following info window, open the Power Query Editor via Edit .
Click on the cogwheel to open the settings (1).
In the pop-up window (2), select the setting "Ignore line breaks in inverted commas" in the Line breaks field.
Close the editor with OK. The changes are retained.
The data in the CSV file is now displayed correctly.
