Innovations in feature set 92

DMS Teamwork

Introduction of collection folders

Scopevisio is also releasing new options in this release that can effectively make it easier for you to handle and structure your files in the Teamwork document management system. The most important new feature provides you with a completely new superordinate organisation level.

In the DMS Teamwork in the Scopevisio client, you now have the option of creating personalised collection folders. Designed as the highest structural level, each collection folder can contain further collection folders as well as any number of regular collections. The folder structure then follows within the collections. This structure, which is only visible to the user, is ideal for customising the DMS Teamwork.

As a special solution within the Scopevisio client, everything remains the same for access via the Teamwork web or desktop client: The familiar hierarchy of collections, folders and files, which can be shared and linked, applies here.

Insert documents using keyboard shortcuts

DMS Teamwork now supports pasting files from the clipboard using the CTRL-v key combination. To do this, these are first copied in Windows Explorer, e.g. with CTRL-c or the context menu that appears when right-clicking. For macOS systems: copy in the Finder using cmd-c and paste into selected Teamwork collections and folders using cmd-v.

Document information added

The document information provides you with essential details such as comments, versions and dates via the corresponding item in the context menu of a file (right-click). In the "Folders, collections and shares" business object, you now also get a quick overview of the sharing situation and membership of collections and folders.
