BWA / Business analysis
Go to Finances > Reports > Finances > Work reports > BWA.
The business analysis (BWA) provides information about the company's earnings situation.
You can compare the balances of up to five different periods and display changes between the selected periods. You can display these changes by right-clicking on the table header.
The links in the totals column take you to a filtered list of totals and balances.
Export BWA
You can easily export the report in various formats using the printer symbol (1) on the left in the table header (table export). You can choose between two layouts for PDF export.
Note: If you output the report via the table export, you can also export the zero positions in the report as well as the displayed accounts assigned to the report.
If you then click on Create BWA (2), a PDF containing the report is output.

The column structure first shows you the balance carried forward, then the months of the financial year and finally a balance column without carryforward values, a column for the netted values of all closing periods and finally the balance across all months including balance carried forward and closing periods.
Main financial statement overview
The main closing overview (also "closing overview" or "operating overview") is used as a report in the annual financial statements or for checking after the closing entries.
It presents the opening balances, the totals of all debit and credit postings, the balances of all accounts, the preparatory adjustments and their results in condensed form and finally breaks down the figures according to the balance sheet and income statement accounts.
For small companies, it can replace the annual financial statements if the formal requirements and statutory retention obligations are complied with.
In the illustration, the column selection was displayed by right-clicking on the table header.
